We’re thrilled to welcome you back for another unforgettable season of live entertainment! From dazzling dramas to laugh-out-loud comedies and magical musicals — there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

We may have had no shows during August, but the team have been busy behind the scenes getting everything ready — polishing the lights, prepping the stage, and programming a lineup of brand-new shows that we can’t wait to share with you.

We have already welcomed back our audience for the first week of the new season and are looking forward to another jam-packed weekend.

Join us for some great nights of music coming up including, Lionel, and Rotherham Symphony Orchestra this weekend, The Glenn Miller & Big Band Spectacular, Lipstick On Your Collar, Taylor Swift Tribute by Xenna, Oh What A Night and Dreamcoat Stars.

Brand new to the Civic this year we have Tom Gates Epic Stage Show, An Evening with Nigel Owens, and Fishlake a powerful story of the floods in the quiet Yorkshire village in 2019.

We are also joined by our wonderful Amateur groups, RTSA with Legally Blonde, GB Creative Productions with Showstoppers, Rotherham Rep with Educating Rita and Blackadder the Third, Phoenix Players with Hobson Choice, Wickersley Youngstars with The Addams Family, a first for the Civic Theatre and RMTC and their production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

To finish the season, we are so excited for our much-loved family pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, with our brand-new panto partner Blue Genie. We also have an evening of Carols and Christmas Music with Maltby Miners Brass Band to get everybody in the Christmas spirit.

We would love to see you at one of our performances and as ever are grateful for your support.

Many of the shows are already getting booked up, so don’t miss out check out our website for the full programme and ways to book.
