We aim to make every customer's visit to Rotherham Civic Theatre as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Please let us know of your access needs at the time of booking and we will do everything we can to help.
Wheelchair access
We have designated wheelchair spaces on row A in the auditorium. Wheelchair spaces can only be booked though our Box Office.
The Theatre has level/ramp access to the main doors and all Front of House facilities are on one level including an accessible toilet.
The Male and Female toilets have step access as well as doors 1 and 2. Door 3 has level access with Front of House but once in the auditorium all rows have step access apart from the accessible row. (row A)
Due to the age of our building, we do not have a lift at the theatre which means that all seats in the auditorium (except row A) are accessed via steps.
We have a drop-off point directly outside the theatre entrance, and there are disabled parking bays at the nearby Clifton Hall and Drummond Street car parks.

Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are always welcome in all areas of the building. Please advise our box office team when booking so that we can make sure suitable seats are allocated.
Infra-red and hearing loop
We have an infra-red hearing loop available at the theatre. These are available from the Box Office. Please inform Box Office at the point of booking if you require this.
Visually Impaired
We can offer braille and/or large print copies of our brochure. Please contact our Box Office to request a copy.
Carer/companion tickets
